Welcome to the Trans-Siberian Railway
Incorporating the Trans-Mongolian and other railways
TransSiberia.net is a voluntary project aiming to provide aspiring travel correspondents the opportunity to showcase their work for free, and to provide free travel information about the Trans-Siberian, Trans-Mongolian and Trans-Manchurian Railways.
We have information on everything from routes and train types to visas, and tickets to toilets. We have a whole array of country guides and city guides for you to choose from, and we also have historical information, traveller stories and both photos and videos of the railways and trains themselves.
If all this wasn't enough, we have guides to the less travelled Baikal-Amur Mainline and Amur-Yakutsk Mainline.
We support the next generation of travel writers, and have given a selected team of dedicated travel correspondents the opportunity to showcase their work right here on TransSiberia.net. Why not take a look at our correspondents and their portfolios?
Because this is a voluntary project, please understand that our work is still ongoing and some of our guides are still in the process of being written. We have a lot of information already up on our site, please make full use of that while we keep working away behind the scenes to expand this dynamic and innovative project. If you would like to get in touch, whether to write with us, or to offer us your comments or feedback, please use the contact link at the bottom of our pages.
